'Tooge', a mental wellness service provider, has launched a new service called 'Umbrella AI'. Umbrella consists of AI Assistants that support mental health in daily life. Users can receive affirmations, coaching, and supportive messages based on psychology, engage in conversations, and access personalized content on meditation, prayer, and sleep stories. The service aims to provide tailored wellness content without the need for separate recommendations. By engaging in personal conversations similar to talking to a friend, the content continuously evolves to meet the user's needs.Although Umbrella may seem like a friendly service, all AI Assistants are based on Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and a curated dataset of over 10,000 items. To further enhance user experience, Tooge plans to introduce over 50 advanced mental support AI Assistants by the end of the year.All content provided by Umbrella, including images, text, and audio, is generated by AI exclusively for the user. By incorporating personalized AI, the service addresses the issue of personalization that was previously limited in the digital mental health service sector. Leveraging Tooge's expertise and data, Umbrella offers audio content with plans to include video and other formats. With AI Assistants supporting 95 languages, the app's global release on app stores became feasible.To realize Tooge's vision of enhancing the mental well-being of the public, the decision to introduce AI was made. Tooge's CEO, Park Minjun, stated, 'Umbrella marks the beginning of Tooge's journey in creating wellness AI Assistants that will become everyone's life coach.' The company plans to expand collaborations in the AI field.Tooge has received funding totaling 1.7 billion KRW from Mashup Angels, Strong Ventures, and Wish Company. It was selected as Today's App and Hidden Gem App in 2020, and participated in the Google Launchpad program in 2021. Additionally, Tooge was chosen as a resident company at the Asan Nanum Foundation Youth Startup Support Center 'Maru 360'.
